Track & Field 2024

The Track and Field Season is just around the corner! All 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders are invited to join Arrowhead’s Track Team! Our goal is to introduce students to Track and Field events while providing individual instruction to develop their skills. Teamwork, sportsmanship and leadership are always emphasized.

A student informational meeting will be held in the library on Tuesday, April 2 during Lunch Recess.

Practices:

Will be on Tuesday and Fridays during Lunch Recess starting after Spring Break. Students meet in the gym.

Registration Fee:

The registration fee is $45.00. Qualifiers of the Free and Reduced Lunch program pay $0.00 with no processing fee, and no credit card information will be requested.

Register/Pay online with credit card:

Parents can pay the registration fee online through the district's Touchbase system using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. Access Touchbase here. If parents need their Touchbase username and password, they should contact our school office, 425.408.4000.

Paper registration forms (English/Spanish) are linked below and on the district website. Please reserve the use of paper forms for:

  • Cash or check payments
  • Free and reduced lunch program qualifiers unable to register online

Elementary Sports Webpage: 

Information on Elementary Sports is accessible on the district website.

Reduced Sports Fee: 

Eligible students with completed free/reduced meals applications and consent for information release (Fee Waiver) will have a $0 sports fee. Details and forms can be found on the Food Services page. Questions regarding the Free and Reduced Lunch program can be directed to Food Services at 425.408.7657.

Transportation To Meets:

Arrangements are the responsibility of the student and their parents. See a coach if you need support or assistance with transportation. Students may “check out” and leave the meet when they have finished their last event.

Home Meet:

Arrowhead will be hosting on May 7 at Kenmore Middle School. We need parent volunteers! Please email the coaches if you would like to help out at our home meet and/or at the Junior Olympics Track meet at Inglemoor High School on Tuesday, May 21 .

Uniforms:

Each student will be issued a team jersey to wear on track MEET DAYS ONLY. Please wash and return them at the end of the season. Students are responsible for providing their own shorts and shoes. (Cleats & spikes are not allowed.)

Attendance:  

Students must be present at school on meet days in order to participate in the meet. Please let a coach know if your student cannot attend the meet. 

Events: 

Athletes may choose to participate in ONE field event and ONE running event, plus the 4x200 relay. Work toward your PB (Personal BEST) each meet!

Field Events: Ball Kick, Ball Throw, High Jump, Triple Jump, Long Jump

Running Events: 50m Dash, 75m Dash, 400m Run, 200m Pursuit Relay
